Still Waiting

I'm still waiting for a camera from Sony that will replace the A700.It?s been two years now and all they produced was 3 new entry level cameras and a semi pro level camera the A900. I?d love to have the a900 , but it?s just too much too little.
I want a faster camera, 8fps and better noise control like the a700. Maybe they will put out a firmware up grade for the a900 that can do this. I think that would be the way to go.

There has been a leek found that Sony will be releasing another new camera to it line of Alpha DSLR. The camera most likely will be the A500 model and will feature a HD video mode to compete with the Canon D50 and the Nikon D90, both of these already have a HD video mode.
